Yorgos and Maeve, in their mid thirties, are pregnant. While they have many differences in character their core values are very much the same. They are both strong feminists invested in exploring and developing their relationship away from patriarchal social convention. They view themselves as individualists that choose to spend time together for as long as it enriches their lives. Shared values around self-awareness, emotional intelligence and a deep commitment to growing and becoming their best self, have – to all intents and purposes – led to them effectively leading a healthy relationship for the best part of two years. Recently they have decided to embark on the adventure of parenthood together after Maeve unexpectedly got pregnant. Coming to this decision was not easy: Several worries needed to be addressed first.
