ABOUT
Adam, originally from Poland and now based in London, has pursued a career in cinematography driven by his love for visual storytelling. He began his journey by studying cinematography at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Poland. Then he moved to the UK and graduated with an MA in Cinematography from the National Film and Television School in the UK.
His first feature film as a DP, Wrooklyn Zoo by Krzysztof Skonieczny (CAA and Film Nation), earned him a nomination for the prestigious Golden Frog at Camerimage Festival 2024.
He recently worked as a camera operator on Baby Reindeer which achieved success on Netflix (top 10 on Netflix worldwide) and won 4 Emmy Awards in 2024.
Animation “Bunnyhood” with his cinematography made to Cannes Film Festival and earned the 3rd Prize La Cinef 2024.
Adam explores new ways to enhance his visual style. He embraces both modern technologies and traditional analog formats, constantly pushing boundaries to create engaging visual experiences. Throughout his career, Adam has gained experience in various roles, including cinematographer, camera operator, and 2nd unit cinematographer, contributing to feature films, short films, commercials, and TV series for platforms like Netflix, Canal+, and Player.
Additionally, Adam has collaborated with the TR Warsaw theatre, serving as a cinematographer alongside Michał Dymek on productions such as “Pieces of a Woman” and “The Bat,” directed by Kornel Mundruczo.
Aside from his involvement in filmmaking, Adam finds solace and excitement in water sports, particularly kitesurfing, surfing, and windsurfing.
